Break Up Your Make Up is a loose tribute to the campy horror film, Cemetery Man. In the movie, "the returners" come back to life as zombies to find their true love. On this album, The Returners come back to do more of the same while invoking the spirit of mid-90's horrorcore. We're excited to release this trunk-thumping twist of a tribute from 2009 on vinyl for the first time ever!

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do. I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool. Ceschi is a bright star. I’m glad he’s loose in the world.

Jesus what an absolutely stunning collection of hip-hop. If I have to be a dick, this album is more of a mix tape in style, the aesthetics of each song is just so different, there's a certain level of narrative disconnect. That said, the actual songs themselves are fucking ill. Packed with dope features, each one matched with Scott's production makes for a genuinely rewarding listen. Rest easy man, you'll be missed.
